Lancaster, WI April 27, 2007 — Candace Croft, Ph.D., has been named Professional of the Year in health and spirituality by Cambridge Who’s Who. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who is itself an honor, only one member in each discipline is named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year. As president of Tabankhu, LLC, Croft combines her expertise in lifespan development, integrative health, spirituality, and energy work with over two decades of experience in healthcare and education. She gives workshops for many groups, including the National Council on Family Relations, American Psychological Society, and National Institutes of Health. Her Inner Life Attunement™ seminars and speaking engagements focus on creating strength-based lives, relationships and organizations.

Croft is a Reiki master/teacher, advanced practitioner of Emotional Freedom Technique, certified family life educator, and energy therapist. She has authored several articles in professional journals and national publications and writes a monthly column, “Living with Heart.” She is also the author of three books. Croft received her Ph.D. in health and human development from Penn State, a master’s degree from the University of Arizona, and a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College. Dr. Lubomyr Romankiw named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year representing Essential Innovations

Yorktown Heights, NY…April 23, 2007– Dr. Lubomyr Romankiw, Fellow and Executive of IBM T.J. Watson Research Center has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year representing Essential Innovations.

While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection committee picks these special Who’s Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Romankiw is a life-long researcher whose work on patents led to the use of magnetic thin-film storage heads in commercial products. This innovation greatly increased the storage density of magnetic recording heads, and is employed in today’s most advanced products. Romankiw is also listed as an inventor or co-inventor on more than 57 U.S. patents and over 120 published inventions. He has authored 150 papers and edited 10 volumes of technical symposia.
Romankiw earned his Ph.D. from MIT in 1962. He is the recipient of the Perkin Medal from Societies of Chemical Industries (1993), the Vittorio de Nora Medal from the Electrochemical Society (1994), the IEEE Morris A. Lieberman Award, the Inventor of the Year Award from Eastern New York Intellectual Property Law Association (2000), and Inventor of the Year Award from the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (2001). Romankiw received 13 Outstanding Invention and Contribution Awards from IBM and 25 Invention Achievement Awards.

Boise, ID …February 23, 2007– Andrew Barr Schoedinger, Ph.D., Chair of the Philosophy Department of Boise State University has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Philosophy, Ethics and Logic. Andrew B. Schoedinger was awarded the M.A. and Ph.D. [1974] degrees in Philosophy from Brown University–before which he graduated from Hobart College. His interests lie mainly in Metaphysics, Ethics, and Medieval Philosophy.

Books published by him includeWhere Have All Our Values Gone?: The Decline Of Values In American And What We Can Do About It [Xlibris, 2004]; Our Philosophical Heritage [an introductory textbook published by Kendall/Hunt, fourth edition, 2002]; Readings in Medieval Philosophy [Oxford University Press, 1996]; The Problem of Universals [an anthology published by Humanities Press International, 1992]; Introduction to Metaphysics: The Fundamental Questions [an anthology published by Prometheus Books, 1991] and Wants, Decisions and Human Action: A Praxeological Investigation [a manuscript on action theory published by University Press of America, 1978].Presently Professor Schoedinger is writing a manuscript the subject of which is normative ethical theory.

Andrew Barr Schoedinger, Ph.D., Chair of the Philosophy Department of Boise State University has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Philosophy, Ethics and Logic. Only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year.

Schoedinger, a lecturer on values and the author of five academic books on philosophy, has 36 years of experience as a philosophy professor at Boise State University. His areas of expertise include meta physics, action theory, medieval philosophy, and values, His latest book, “Where Have All Our Values Gone? The Decline of Values in America and What We Can do About It,” looks at how that decline came about and what is needed to restore it. Scheodinger takes special interest in the declining sense of responsibility for individual behavior and the confusion over what constitutes “family values.” Chapters address issues such as duty, corruption of the legal system, narcissism and the entertainment industry.

Schoedinger received a Ph.D. in philosophy from Brown University. He is former president of the Northwest Conference of Philosophy, and a member of International Societe’ de Philosophie de Medieval, Istanbul, Turkey. He has made radio and television appearances.
