Lyle Castle, Ph.D., editor, CEO and president of Hetero Corporation and chemistry professor at Idaho State University, has been named Professional of the Year in Heterocyclic Chemistry by Cambridge Who’s Who.

Pocatello, ID (PRWeb) December 20, 2006 — Lyle Castle, Ph.D., editor, CEO and president of Hetero Corporation and chemistry professor at Idaho State University, has been named Professional of the Year in Heterocyclic Chemistry by Cambridge Who’s Who. At Hetero Corporation, Castle oversees management of the Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, established by his father, Raymond N. Castle, in 1964. Hetero Corporation also publishes scientific works in the field of heterocyclic chemistry. As a professor at Idaho State University, Castle, whose expertise is in heterocyclic chemistry, heterocyclic synthesis and the application of compounds for solar energy conversion devices, conducts research and teaches in all areas of organic chemistry, including synthetic methods, chromatography, 1D and 2D NMR, photochemistry and theoretical methods.

Castle received his Ph.D. in physical and organic chemistry from the University of South Florida, his master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Nebraska, and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southern Utah University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, the American Chemical Society, the International Society of Heterocyclic Chemistry and Sigma Xi. He has published 30 works in the field of heterocyclic chemistry and is a sought-after speaker on the topic.

Los Angeles, CA …April 24, 2007– Charles Floyd Johnson, Co-Executive Producer of CBS/Paramount Television has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year inCambridge Who's Who Member Charles Floyd Johnson production and distribution of television programming. Johnson has worked as a writer and producer in a wide variety of television programs, including The Rockford Files and Magnum, P.I. His career has also included acting roles in such television programs as JAG and NCIS. As a co-executive producer, Johnson’s areas of expertise include overseeing the creation of television shows, daily and post production, budgeting, casting, and looping. Johnson started out as a production coordinator in 1971 and has steadily climbed the ladder to his current position.

Johnson received his JD from Howard University Law School in 1970. He was active in the civil rights movement and was involved in John F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. He has been published in the Howard Law Journal and received an Army Commendation Medal for his work as a defense counsel for AWOL soldiers during the Vietnam War. He is a member of Screen Actors Guild, and Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Andrew B. Schoedinger was awarded the M.A. and Ph.D. [1974] degrees in Philosophy from Brown University–before which he graduated from Hobart College. His interests lie mainly in Metaphysics, Ethics, and Medieval Philosophy.

Schoedinger, a lecturer on values and the author of five academic books on philosophy, has 36 years of experience as a philosophy professor at Boise State University. His areas of expertise include meta physics, action theory, medieval philosophy, and values, His latest book, “Where Have All Our Values Gone? The Decline of Values in America and What We Can do About It,” looks at how that decline came about and what is needed to restore it. Scheodinger takes special interest in the declining sense of responsibility for individual behavior and the confusion over what constitutes “family values.” Chapters address issues such as duty, corruption of the legal system, narcissism and the entertainment industry.

Schoedinger received a Ph.D. in philosophy from Brown University. He is former president of the Northwest Conference of Philosophy, and a member of International Societe’ de Philosophie de Medieval, Istanbul, Turkey. He has made radio and television appearances.
