Cambridge Who’s Who Selects Christiane David as Artist of the Year

David teaches through private art lessons and group workshops, and gives presentations in her community. The gallery displays her original works as well as prints and note cards.

Before moving to the U.S. in 1985 with her husband and daughter, David studied painting in her native Belgium. She also studied architecture and pursued a career as a designer, having completed coursework at the Brussels Academy of Art and Belgium’s School of Architecture. She received much of her early training from disciples of Belgian painter Paul Delvaux. Through contact with fellow European impressionists, David absorbed many techniques to form the foundation of her definitive style. A former member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Philadelphia Watercolor Club and Harrisburg Art Association and past president of the Berks Art Association, David participates in regional exhibitions, winning awards in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

Los Angeles, CA …April 24, 2007– Charles Floyd Johnson, Co-Executive Producer of CBS/Paramount Television has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year inCambridge Who's Who Member Charles Floyd Johnson production and distribution of television programming. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year. Johnson has worked as a writer and producer in a wide variety of television programs, including The Rockford Files and Magnum, P.I. His career has also included acting roles in such television programs as JAG and NCIS. As a co-executive producer, Johnson’s areas of expertise include overseeing the creation of television shows, daily and post production, budgeting, casting, and looping. Johnson started out as a production coordinator in 1971 and has steadily climbed the ladder to his current position.

Johnson received his JD from Howard University Law School in 1970. He was active in the civil rights movement and was involved in John F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. He has been published in the Howard Law Journal and received an Army Commendation Medal for his work as a defense counsel for AWOL soldiers during the Vietnam War. He is a member of Screen Actors Guild, and Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Yorktown Heights, NY…April 23, 2007– Dr. Lubomyr Romankiw, Fellow and Executive of IBM T.J. Watson Research Center has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year representing Essential Innovations.

While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection committee picks these special Who’s Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Romankiw is a life-long researcher whose work on patents led to the use of magnetic thin-film storage heads in commercial products. This innovation greatly increased the storage density of magnetic recording heads, and is employed in today’s most advanced products. Romankiw is also listed as an inventor or co-inventor on more than 57 U.S. patents and over 120 published inventions. He has authored 150 papers and edited 10 volumes of technical symposia.
Romankiw earned his Ph.D. from MIT in 1962. He is the recipient of the Perkin Medal from Societies of Chemical Industries (1993), the Vittorio de Nora Medal from the Electrochemical Society (1994), the IEEE Morris A. Lieberman Award, the Inventor of the Year Award from Eastern New York Intellectual Property Law Association (2000), and Inventor of the Year Award from the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (2001). Romankiw received 13 Outstanding Invention and Contribution Awards from IBM and 25 Invention Achievement Awards.
